We exhibited at the EU Battery Show last month where we launched our CIRCA Battery Platform. The event was an all-round success for us with hundreds of leads generated, some new customers in progress, and a real opportunity to learn more about the battery industry.
We believe that to fundamentally transform battery energy storage, you have to be able to build better batteries where that energy is needed. The benefit of shorter supply chains, and lower cost production through ‘micro-fabrication’ is widely known and has even become mainstream across many sectors from micro-breweries to micro-grids. With support from the Shell Foundation, Aceleron stood up a lithium battery pack production operation in April in Nairobi, Kenya that produced 124 functional advanced lithium batteries within 1 week from start to finish using minimal equipment and zero specialist training.
Brill Power Ltd. (an award-winning Oxford University spin-out) – This makes Aceleron the 1st to integrate intelligent Management into lithium packs. (Extending battery lives by 30-40%).
Aspire Engineering Ltd. – Our technology and business development partnership has generated new customers and business in addition to the agreement to co-locate operations into a battery technology development base in Weston-Super-Mare.
The Aceleron team closed a strategic ‘turnkey’ manufacturing agreement with Teconnex Ltd (part of the Hexadex Group) for the manufacturing design, supply chain management, process optimisation, trade financing, and large volume production of the CIRCA platform and other developed models for the foreseeable future.
Greeted with positive reactions from industry professionals at the EU Battery Show in Hannover last month, we launched our modular CIRCA Battery Platform. The CIRCA is the first completely reusable advanced lithium battery pack available on the market.
In January 2018, Aceleron exhibited its technology to much interest at the Rushlight Show at the Royal Geographical Society in London.
Aceleron was named Circular Economy Business of the Year by the Business Green Magazine at their annual award ceremony. The team were delighted to have received this accolade.
Aceleron Co-Founder, Carlton Cummins, was invited to give a talk at the World Trade Organisation on Trade and the Environment. See the video below for some more details.
